A piece of Straits Settlement Dollar secured by NGC MS64 has been sold by Stack's Bowers & Ponterio in January 2016 NYINC Auction for USD 1,100 (does not include the buyer premium and miscellaneous).

STRAITS SETTLEMENTS. Dollar, 1904-B. NGC MS-64.
KM-25; Tan-SSC34. A point away from finest seen at the grading services. Reasonably available circulated or with problems, at this level the piece offered here is a true condition rarity. Coarse textured luster launches from the fully original fields, with just enough tone to convincingly demonstrate its fully original status. A marvelous example of the issue and sure to please. NGC MS-64.

Perhaps you may feel unbelievable for the said results after matching with the population report. However, this price is not surprising if you are familiar with it.
In March 2014, it was another piece in NGC MS65 had been sold by Mavin International for SGD 3,800 (excluded the buyer premium). Again, a piece of fine graded Straits Dollar seem never cheap and highly demanded by the collectors.
