A piece of Straits Settlements 5 cents 1874H has been sold by Heritage Auction in USD 836.50 (including buyer premium) in 22/06/2016. This results should be the historical lowest according to the past results made by Heritage Auction. There are about 26 pieces and 7 pieces of mint state condition has been tracked in NGC and PCGS population results respectively.With holding to the hypothesis that none any them were crossed grading among each others or "break-and-regrade", 33 pieces are known in today. In between, the Straits Settlements 5 cents series in early stage (key dated) are always perceived as higher value than 10 cents series in global trend.
The highest bidding record was USD 2,990 (including buyer premium) by Heritage Auction too.
Remarks: The stated price about is subjected to 6% custom tax and USD 66 (approx.) postage and handling fees.
