Straits Settlements 50 cents 1888 graded by NGC in MS 61 has been sold by Heritage Auction in last Dec 2017 at USD 8,400 (exchange rate was about USD 1 = USD 4.11). According to the auctioneer description, the coin retains lustre in major with minor hand handling. The auction's result was once again show the strong demand of the Victoria Series of Straits Settlements 50 cents.
