Straits Settlement Victoria 1900H PCGS PCGS AU53

British Colony - Victoria 50 Cents 1900-H AU53 PCGS, Heaton mint, KM13. has been sold for USD 1000 (without buyer premium, custom tax and postage) by Heritage Auction (Hong Kong Signature Sale 3043 in 11th December 2015. 

This coin is definitely rare with the mintage about 40,000 pieces. The only piece slabbed PCGS in MS62 has been sold by Heritage too in the year 2012 for USD 9,775 (including the buyer premium).

The following is the description of Heritage Auction about the said coin: 

"A faint golden toned example of this low-mintage date, with strong highpoint detail and a couple peripheral marks, most notably at 1 o'clock on the obverse and 9 o'clock on the reverse, that contribute to the grade."
